You are due back to work and although you are looking forward to getting back into the adult world again, but there’s a part of you that’s dreading it.

Work and your role might be the same but you are definitely not. You have lots of jumbled thoughts and can’t visualise how it’s going to work and you’re feeling unsure about what value you bring.

You want confidence, clarity, work life balance and to feel excited and fulfilled by your career while being the parent you want to be.

It’s hard because this is a dramatic change in your life, you don’t know what work as a parent is going to look like or what you’re going to look like at work.

All your resources are being tested to the max and it feels like everyone else’s needs are more important or more urgent than yours.

This is exactly the time to invest in space and focus on YOU and, your needs and wants.

Time looking at who you are, what you want and need builds the right foundations to pay dividends for your future and your family’s future.

You are worried about talking to work about it in case they think you’re going to drop the ball, your partner and friends have listened and are sympathetic but it’s you, your career and your unique circumstances that we’re talking about here.

There is no cookie cutter, perfect way to work as a parent, it has to be right for you, your job and your family.

You’re scared you’re not up to it and might have to downgrade your level of work in exchange for flexibility.

  • 6 x 1:1 Coaching Sessions

    6-60 minute 1:1 sessions with me online or in person. Completely bespoke to you. We'll work on your specific circumstances, beliefs and mindset blocks to help you gain clarity and work through problems and issues quickly.

    Specific to you and your needs, many of these tools (including a Strengths Evaluation) you will be able to carry with you and use throughout your career and life.

  • Accountability & Action Plans

    Coaching sessions will provide insights and breakthroughs but without taking action or implementing different mindsets and patterns we often stay in the same place. We will discuss your accountability needs and you will have action plans that are specific to you

  • Voice Message Coaching

    You will have my support for the full 3 months and you may have questions or issues that come up as life happens or you implement in between sessions. Using Voxer messaging allows me to provide support for you within 48 hours of you messaging me

  • Bespoke Resources & Recommendations

    I will recommend resources such as books, exercises, podcasts, information sources, organisations that will be able to help with your specific areas of need and situation.

  • Time, Focus & Space for YOU

    When you have children your needs and wants can go to the bottom of the list, but this is a time when everything changes for you. This is the time when you need to reassess who you are, what you want and need. Getting these foundations in place pays dividends for your future and your family’s future.

    We will look at your dreams and how your career can help fulfil these (I can help you work these out if you’re not sure what you want right now)

  • Reconnect to yourself

    You probably feel like you have changed since becoming a parent. But I bet you haven’t had time to explore this. In fact have you ever explored this!

    We explore your identity and how it may have changed

    One of the biggest issues my clients face before working with me is low confidence and fear of not being good enough

    We will work on your confidence and self worth, not only within work but we will connect to your worth outside of your career

    This will help you to negotiate flexibility, communicate your desires for your role, ask for support where needed, manage relationships, create autonomy and promote yourself.

    These will be unique to you but these can range from fears and limiting beliefs (hello people pleasing and parent guilt) to childcare and location

    We will work on removing and adapting to these challenges

    These are fundamental to thriving in your work and life

    No one is going to enforce your needs and boundaries apart from you, so it’s key to understand what they are

    We will look at your specific situation, what you want to achieve, what needs are being met and unmet and what boundaries need to be put in place

  • Your Ideal Return to Work

    After working through the majority of the programme using all the knowledge, insights and breakthroughs we will map out your ideal return to work.

    Looking at your role, your aspirations for the future, and your ideal working week in practical terms and your work life balance.

    The previous programme elements will mean you are building this on a strong foundation of what you want and what works for you. Meaning you are creating a happy and sustainable reaturn to work while being the parent you want to be.

  • Action Plan & Way Forward

    Now we create an action plan

    This is where we make it all happen!

    We will be working on action throughout the programme but you will leave with a practical and manageable action plan with a clear way forward

  • Coaching for Work & Life As It Happens

    The beauty of working together over a few months is that life and work happens.

    You will have access to 1:1 coaching as it unfolds

    Support around reviews, kit days, negotiations, disagreements, dilemmas, relationships and interviews (and whatever else comes up).

    The programme is bespoke to you and has the flexibility to adapt to your needs

    The blend of life, career and mindset work allows me to address multiple needs at the same time. There’s no need to work with three separate experts . Who’s got time for that?

    Coaching connects you to you! Because being true to yourself is more complicated than it seems. A lot of the time we don’t know who we are. We are confused by changing identities (e.g. before and after kids) and we juggle roles (mother, partner, friend, , employee, business owner etc). My coaching allows you to really find out who you are, what you want and what your version of success is. Armed with this knowledge, we work together to make a career and life plan that works for you and your family.

  • I work with parents, most of my clients are women becaus of the particular challenges women face when returning to their professional life. I do have male clients too and am happy to have a consultation with anyone who is interested in working with me to see if it is a good fit.

  • I don’t believe that coaching is a luxury. It is an investment in you and your career or business. Waiting for things to be a certain way is an easy way to stay stuck. But working on your career – so that it can be a source of happiness and fulfillment – shouldn’t be put off, this is what gets you there. Waiting and doing nothing means nothing changes.
